Potting, Sealing and Adhesives
Targray is proud to collaborate with Momentive Performance Materials to provide Solar-industry specific sealant, adhesive and potting solutions. Silicone sealing and adhesive solutions have a proven track record against UV degradation and harsh weathering conditions. Additionally, they operate at extremely wide temperature ranges.
Frame Sealants, Junction Box Attach, CPV and Rail Attach Adhesives
Targray offers both 1-component and 2-component silicone sealants and adhesives. Silicone can offer protection against environmental ingression as well as mechanical and thermal shock stress. Silicone typically has excellent resistance to degradation over time by UV from the sun. In addition, Targray’s silicone solutions can be considered for use in severe weather conditions as they typically have outstanding continuous operating performance in temperatures ranging from -60°C to +204°C / -75°F to +400°F. Potting Agents
Targray’s line of reliable Potting Agents can help enhance the durability of junction boxes components. In addition to electrical insulation and fire resistance, our potting agents can help protect by-pass diodes in junction boxes through effective thermal management and weathering properties. Best of all, our Potting Agents typically have one of the fastest in class curing times to help reduce cycle times in your process.
