Targray supplies Dry & Wet Stretched Polyolefin Separators, including Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) for use in the manufacture of secondary Lithium-ion batteries. This product contains micro and nano pores to provide excellent ion-transportation in the battery.
Polypropylene (PP) Separator
The evolution of Li-ion batteries from consumer electronic devices to large batteries for use in electric vehicles requires a superior battery Separator technology. Our advanced PP separator has a high shut down temperature and excellent mechanical strength suitable for use in EV batteries and other power cell applications.

Polyethylene (PE) Separators – Dry Stretch
PE Dry-Stretch separators are used in the manufacture of secondary Li-ion batteries. This product contains micro and nano pores to provide excellent ion-transportation in the battery. The dry method produces a high quality Separator that offers several advantages to the customer as compared to Separators made by the wet stretch method.

Targray’s line of Polyethylene separators are used widely for consumer electronics, high power and high energy batteries. Starting with Ultra-high Density Polyethylene our wet stretch process results in excellent porosity, homogenous nano-pore structure, and excellent strength characteristics.
