Targray Toy Drop for Needy Children
Targray Toy Drop for Needy Children
Kirkland, Quebec, December 4, 2008 – A local company in the West Island is trying to put a smile on children’s faces this holiday season by making sure they have a gift to open under the Christmas tree. Every year Targray Technology employees have donated toys to needy children in their community but this year, due to the economic crisis, the need for toys is ever greater. So Targray is asking the public for help to collect these much needed toys. And they are making it easy for you by holding a TOY DROP at their offices on the Trans-Canada highway in Kirkland. All toys collected will be donated to the West Island Women’s shelter – who will donate the toys to the children of all the women who have used the shelter over the past year.
Due to the economic downturn, funding for the shelter has decreased – companies simply don’t have the budget this year. Targray is looking to the public and the surrounding communities to purchase and drop off new and unwrapped toys for these children. Toys for all age groups are very much appreciated - as long as they are unwrapped and non-violent. Simply pick up an extra toy when doing your shopping this year and drop it off at Targray’s front door. Targray employees will make sure it gets wrapped and given to a child in need.
Targray is located at
18105 Trans Canada Highwayin Kirkland, between St-Charles blvd and the Collisee movie theatres (take the St-Charles exit off the Trans-Canada hwy going west and stay on the service road – Targray is on the right hand side). They will be collecting toys between 9am and 9pm from Monday, December 8th through to Friday, December 12th.
