ENLIGHTTM Polyolefin Encapsulant Film Dow Encapsulation Materials

Targray, in partnership with The Dow Chemical Company, is pleased to offer ENLIGHTTM Polyolefin Encapsulant Film for encapsulation of c-Si and thin film photovoltaic modules.

This durable, high performance film offers module manufacturers the potential for shorter lamination cycle times without sacrificing adhesion performance or material stability during lamination. A low Water Vapor Transmission Rate combined with High Resistivity, excellent UV stability and no acetic acid generation insures modules will experience minimum output efficiency loss as a result of long term exposure to heat, moisture and UV light.

Features and Benefits

  • Broad operating temperature range for lamination
  • Low Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR)
  • Possibility for shorter lamination cycle times
  • Resistant to hydrolysis
  • No need for cross-linking during lamination
  • No acetic acid generation
  • Excellent adhesion to glass and module materials
  • High Resistivity
  • Sample test data supports 90% output efficiency after 10,000 hrs of Damp Heat Cycles (DHC)
  • Exceptional UV stability
