Montreal, Canada – Targray has announced the appointment of international finance executive Janine Peter as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Janine will also serve as a member of the Senior Management Team, acting as a strategic partner to Targray President Andrew Richardson.
Janine comes to Targray from LUKOIL Pan Americas, LLC a subsidiary of LITASCO SA and the international marketing and trading company of LUKOIL, where she held various senior credit risk, treasury and trade finance positions leading up to being named Treasurer of the Americas and part of the regional executive team. Janine began her career at BCGE – the Cantonal Bank of Geneva – serving in the role of Regional Manager Financial Institutions.
In her new role, Janine will be responsible for leading Targray’s worldwide finance organization, including business operations, treasury, trade finance, tax planning, accounting and reporting, acquisitions, and capital allocation. Working closely with company leaders in Montreal and Geneva, she will drive Targray’s finance strategy to enable and support the sustainable growth of its burgeoning global commodity trading business.
Janine earned her master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute. She is a Certified Management Accountant (IMA | Institute of Management Accountants) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute).
