Montreal, Canada – Targray is pleased to announce its membership with the International Cotton Association (ICA), the world’s leading global cotton association with the aim of promoting safe trading.
The company is proud to collaborate with the ICA which puts forth strong sustainable standards and initiatives to help address global challenges around sustainable supply and agriculture practices, while also creating opportunities for profitable, responsible growth in developing countries that lead to significant environmental, social and economic benefits.
Targray’s sustainable cotton business in the Agri-commodities sector connects raw cotton suppliers, traders, and end users through integrated sourcing, logistics, sales, and distribution activities to create differentiated value in markets around the world, and the company’s team of global cotton experts is thrilled to have access to the invaluable resources offered by the ICA.
Representing all sectors of the cotton supply chain, the ICA established a set of bylaws and rules to help regulate raw cotton trade 180 years ago and maintains these regularly today while also offering a robust set of tools and support services to the community.
With a shared commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Targray commends the ICA’s launch of the Women in Cotton working group which aims to increase the engagement of women in the industry and provides valuable networking and educational resources to support growth and development.
