Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA)
Founded in 1958 as the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America, SIGMA is a national trade association that represents gasoline and diesel fuel marketers and chain retailers in both the United States and Canada. From the outset, the association has served to further the interests of both the branded and unbranded segments of the fuel marketing industry while providing information and services to members. Targray has been a SIGMA member and event sponsor since 2017.
American Petroleum Institute (API)
The American Petroleum Institute (API) is a U.S.-based national trade association that represents all facets of the natural gas and oil industry, which supports 10.3 million American jobs and nearly 8 percent of the United States economy. API’s more than 600 members include large integrated companies, as well as Oil & Gas exploration and production, refining, petroleum marketing, pipeline, and marine businesses, and service and supply firms from across the country.
Canadian Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (CIPMA)
The Canadian Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (CIPMA) is a national not-for-profit trade association for Canada’s fuel supply, distribution and marketing industry. CIPMA members are responsible for the distribution of gasoline, diesel, heating oil, propane, aviation fuel and renewable fuels across a vast geography, to diverse industries, and to millions of Canadian consumers. Targray has been an associate member of the organization since 2019.
Canadian Propane Association (CPA)
The Canadian Propane Association (CPA) is the national association for Canada’s propane industry, representing over 400 member companies in every region of the country. Members include producers, wholesale marketers, transporters and retail marketers from coast to coast. The organization is focused on championing propane and the propane industry in Canada, and facilitating best practices, safety and a favorable business environment, through advocacy, training and emergency response.
Canadian Fuels Association
The Canadian Fuels Association is the leading voice representing Canada’s transportation fuels industry. Its members are the companies who process crude oil into essential products like gasoline, diesel fuel, and heating oil and get those products to market. The Canadian transportation fuel sector contributes over $10 billion CAD to Canada’s GDP each year and employs more than 118,000 Canadians at 16 refineries, 78 fuel distribution terminals and 12,000 retail and commercial sites.
