Dennis Stieren is a commodity risk management executive with over 25 years of experience in trade operations and risk oversight within the agriculture and energy sectors.
Stieren’s career includes a significant tenure at Gavilon, a major U.S. agriculture and energy commodity trading firm, where he held the position of Chief Risk Officer. In this role, he established the company’s Risk Department, laying the foundation for robust risk management practices.
Prior to his time at Gavilon, Stieren was a Trade and Risk executive at Conagra Foods for nearly a decade, further honing his expertise in commodity trading and risk management.
Throughout his career, Stieren has been recognized for his strategic leadership and deep understanding of commodity markets, contributing to the development and implementation of effective risk management frameworks.
