In 2005, as part of a round-table initiative convened by WWF, a group of visionary organizations came together to form Better Cotton and ensure the product’s sustainable future. Its goal is to help people help themselves, via trade rather than donations, in order to improve the living and working conditions of smallholder farmers in Africa and to protect our environment. Targray is a CmiA-verified cotton trader, and all of its transactions are registered on the association’s SCOT (Sustainable Cotton Tracker) platform.
