Sajindra Jayasena

For almost 25 years, Sajindra has championed large scale transformation and technology implementations for global organizations. Before embarking on a career in Information Technology, Sajindra earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka (Honors) and a master’s degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in management accounting and finance from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA, UK).

Upon completing his studies, Sajindra began his career as a software engineer and climbed up the ranks to eventually become a Lead Solutions Architect. As an architect, Sajindra developed and delivered enterprise grade software to Global Fortune 500 enterprises. He then joined Deutsche Bank in 2010, and throughout his tenure which lasted almost a decade, Sajindra assumed various senior leadership positions across the bank’s top global business units – including its Investment and Corporate Banking divisions. He later joined Amphora as its Executive CTO, overseeing the company’s digital projects while growing the firm’s technology and product offerings.
