Notching Mold

Notching dies are precision tools used in secondary battery assembly equipment to notch electrodes accurately and consistently.
| Category | Remark |
| Electrode size | 6 ~ 12um (can be customized according to customer specifications) |
| Electrode thickness | 100 ~ 190um (can be customized according to customer specifications) |
| Integral mold | Electrode Min-Max Size : Width(80 ~ 400m), Height(100 ~ 300mm) |
| Modular mold | Electrode Min-Max Size : Width(80 ~ 400m), Height(150 ~ 600mm) |
| Quality |
Total circumference burr under 7~10㎛ Active material parts delamination under 200㎛ |
| Warranty |
Single-run output: 600k–800k anode/cathode (varies with punch oil use in mass production) No warranty if not mold-related – e.g., press flatness, tape contamination, or adhesion issues |
| Regrinding |
Anode/cathode 600k–800k hits per use, followed by inspection and regrinding (up to 20 regrinds) Mold can be reused after punch and die replacement once 20 regrinds per mold are reached Mold overhaul required after two reuse cycles following punch/die replacement |
| Customizable mold per production | 1 Cavity ~4 Cavity (Mold size changes required per cavity configuration) |

Stand-alone Notching Machine
The stand-alone notching machine is used to notch the uncoated area of electrodes after slitting (pre-stacking process).
Stand-alone Stacking Machine
Once the notching process is complete, the stacking machine stacks a specified number of anodes and cathodes.
